zef's adventures

Hello all,

So last week end we went to Bobrov to do a walk to Babia Hora.

We were 12 very motivated guys and girls, to fight against cold, snow, wind and ice, to walk up to this 1725 m  hill.

Saturday :

After 4h walking uphill, we reach Babia Hora, unfortunately, the weather was not very good, and the view as well.

So after few minutes there, we went downhill to meet the second group which had some problems to go up there.

Everybody met in a small restaurant to take a drink, after this long and tiring walk.....

Then we went to relax in a spa in Oravice.....soooo good!

Well this day make us hungry, we had a good diner in a koliba nearby.

Sunday :

After a good night, we left Brobov to go to  visit the Obrava Castle, the Nosferatu Castle, mouhahahahahahahah!!!!

Be carefull in summer bears can be very angry!!!!!

Voila, me revoici pour vous proposer un petit album sur la Réunion, suite a notre voyage, Katarina et moi, sur l île du piton de la fournaise et de la bière dodo....^^

tak tu mame fotoalbum z tripu na ostrov Reunion, ostrov uzasneho vulkanu Piton de la fournaise, ostrov vtaka ( a piva) nazyvaneho Dodo. Dufam, ze sa bude pacit ....^^

En fait il s agit plutôt d un voyage sportif, car j ai participe au Grand Raid de l île de la Réunion, appelé la diagonale des fous, oui, oui, elle porte bien son nom.

163 km, 18 000 m de dénivelé, 66h de parcours maxi. Bon ça c est pour ceux qui sont arrives au bout, soit 1400 concurrents sur 2555. Je fais parti de ceux qui ont abandonne sur blessures. Après seulement 65 km parcourus, 3500 m de dénivelé et 15h de course.

Grand raid, to je 163 kilometrov, 18 000 metrov hore a dole, ktore treba zdolat za menej ako 66 hodin. To zvladli 1400 z celkoveho poctu 2555 zucastnenych, ale Zef bol medzi tymi, ktori to vzdali, po 65 km a 15 hodinach. Nepytajte sa, prosim, preco, som rada, ze neskoncil v nemocnici.

J étais avec 3 autres gaillards, seulement un a tenu jusqu au bout. On nous appelait the A team!!

Zef bol s 3 dalsimi kamosmi, z nich iba jeden dokoncil, dali si pracovny nazov A team.

Voila Katarina s est dit, puisque zef va crapahuter la haut a faire le zouave, m enfin..... ben moi je vais faire du tourisme.... Et c est donc Katarina qui s est occupée des photos et des bobos, lol.

Well my knees did not want to continue the Raid, i gave up after 65 km, at Belouve stop. 15h of trekking, 3500 m uphill .... my legs are tired. Fortunatly we had nice assistance, thanks Katka and the girls....

I was happy to participate of one of the biggest race of the planet, a lot of happyness and pain, but what a lot of memories and good experience.

Hello all,

here you can see few photos from this place : Sulov

Few km West from Zilina, the walk beggins in Sulov, we follow a ridge line of small peaks.
3h around this valley, easy, no difficulties, it s a nice walk to do with the kids.

On sunday, after a good night, we went to Vrsatske Podhradie.
Another walk, easy, around a small massif, we climbed on the mount Chmelova, and we discover a beautyfull view of the area

After 2h20 we finished the walk.

Ce dimanche 12.09, petite rando sur les Tatras, montée du mont Chleb a partir de Vratana, puis marche sur les crêtes de monts en monts.(Pulodnovy grund entre autre)

5h de rando : descente vers la voiture sur des pentes boueuses avec glissades, puis collation (gulash et soupe) lors d un arrêt.(Ch na gruni)

bref une bonne rando dans un décor magnifique.
